Challenge Yourself

1. For one week, challenge yourself to:
a. Get high score in a quiz or seatwork,
b. To recite in class at least once in any courses;
c. To submit a quality assignment or requirement

b. Considering the given ideas on how to treat others with restpect what can you commit to yourself in terms of dealing with the MCL commmunity: teachers, students, employees, security, maintenance/janitors and canteen personnel?

They are treating me well. The teachers are teaching as well, correcting our mistakes and they have a mercy. Some of students are good. Employees are good and treating us well too. Some of the securities are good while others are over stricted. The maintenance are good. Janitors are industrious and good also because I can talk to them and they are open for us. The canteen personnel are good and they are always treating us as Sir or Mom they also giving us a delicious foods so we can eat well and healthy.

b. Considering the given ideas on how to treat others with restpect what can you commit to yours

- when they want to give you comments or suggestions?

I wish that it was negative, to know that my suggestions was incorrect or something.

when you don't like doing what they ask you to do;

I want them to understand my own decision. If I don't, I don't but if I want, I want.

- when you commit mistake;

I want them to say "next time do it with excellence" or just ignore it.

- when you are giving suggestions during group work or presentation;

I want them to listen and understand my suggestion, so it will work.

- when you are expressing your opinion during class or group discussion;

I want them to listen carefully when I'm expressing my opinion and don't laugh at me.

a. Given the following situations, how would you like to be treated by your teachers and schoolmates:

- when you have given wrong answers to the questions during recitation;

I wish they would'nt laugh to me to make unashamed.

2. The Golden Rule says, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."

Because when you do something to others first, maybe they will give you a positive feedback and that feels good than you are the one who gives the feedback.

1. Looking back at the list of your positive characteristics and qualities, what do you feel and realize about it?

I feel better and I realized that doing positive is really great because when you do positive the consequence will be positive also. I can say that negative makes troubles but positive makes safety...

e. What have you realized/learned from this experience?

I learned that we have to behave in some events and I realized that if I em wiling to have a band, I must practice and practice to be like them.

d. What did you dislike during the event?

I dislike the weather because it was raining in that event.

c. What did you like most about the event?

Music is the most what I like in that event. Because it is the one who can make us enjoy. The music of the instruments can make us jump, ofcourse it is a rock band thats why we have to jump.

b. What were your feelings/emotions during the event?

I was happy, enjoying with my friends in that night and we shout together and we also singing the song of the bands.

1. Write your thoughts/reflection about the Freshmen Night using the guide questions below:

a)What were the things, scenes and events you have seen during the Freshmen Night?

The famous bands. Chicosci, Mom's Cake and Callalily, I'm happy because that was my first time to watch a concert like that and it is for free. And also we have an alpha batch T-Shirt and a Pepsi Cola. Its raining in the fresh man night but we are still watching because it is so important for us. I saw the bocalists from the bands and they are a great singers, that was my wish...

2. How do you feel about your teachers and schoolmates? How do you find your courses?

Proffesors are great and teaches us well to learn about the topic. Courses are hard that is because we have to participate more and be responsible to pass those courses. I think I'm gonna have to adjust my studies and listen very well, because I know that I em not a fast learner. I think there is nothing I have to change in my emotions because I know that it was right.

1. How was your first week of stay at MCL?

Well my first week is fine I have one late in that week but that is ok. My first week here in MCL I'd just walk and walk because I wanted to see the facilities of this school. I have no friends yet in that week but in the 3rd day, I had a friends. In that week I listened carefully to the professors because if I didn't, I cannot relate to the topic.
